DOMO Film Solutions at FachPack 2019, as Sustainability Awards Gold Sponsor

Last April Packaging Europe and NürnbergMesse announced their partnership to host the 5th annual international Sustainability Awards at FachPack 2019 in Nuremberg, Germany on 25 September 2019. Integrated into FachPack’s supporting program, the Sustainability Awards ceremony will once again be presented in conjunction with the Sustainable Packaging Summit curated by Packaging Europe, to form the unmissable sustainability event of the year.

The Sustainability Awards is the most serious, rigorous and prestigious international competition for sustainability in packaging. Throughout this year, DOMO Film Solutions is sponsoring this initiative at the same time illustrating its sustainable projects to all flexible packaging converters using either BOPA and/or CPA in their processes and looking for lower environmental impact and more recyclable Nylon films.

The benchmark for sustainable packaging innovation

Packaging waste, climate change and other environmental crises call for an urgent and cohesive response from the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. Challenging us to take a rigorous and holistic view, the Sustainability Awards sets the agenda on best practice, turns the spotlight on the most important areas of R&D, and separates greenwash from the innovations making a tangible difference.

The Sustainability Awards is judged by a jury of independent experts from a cross-section of the European value chain, including leading brand owners and retailers such as Amazon, Nestlé, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo and P&G, sustainability organisations, waste management and academia. Each year the competition sees an ever-growing engagement, assessing submissions from start-ups and global brands according to the same, rigorous criteria.

The Sustainability Awards are recognised by the World Packaging Organization. Therefore, the winners are eligible to enter the WorldStar awards.
